It is important that clients feel comfortable with their attorney. Some clients feel intimidated just because you are an attorney. They are hesitant about making that first phone call to set up a consultation as well as about entering your office for that first visit. So, my job as an attorney, is to break down that wall.
I encourage my clients to share their opinions, thoughts and strategies, as well as the facts of the case. I want them to know that it takes a team to be successful and they must be an active participant on this team. So, make sure that when you take on a new client, encourage them to own their case and remind them that this is a team effort.
